invalid rss feed

    hi
    my rss feed of my website seems to be invalid. the plugin that I have installed rss feed validator is giving me a notification on my dashboard that my “rss feed has got issues”. when I go to feedvalidator.org to check my rss feed and when I enter, http://www.check-howto.com/feed, I get a msg
    1)Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not Found
    2)HTTP error with content that looks like a feed
    I know nothing about coding I don not have a web design background. iam a complete newbie but Iam trying to set up a website all by myself. please help me step by step as to what I need to do.. your help will be truly appreciated
