I am using the blix theme on my blog. I have seen some people have a ‘continue reading’ on their posts when using this theme as opposed to the usual ‘<more>’ tag. Does anyone know how this is done?

    Example: http://www.kingcosmonaut.de/blix/

The way i use it is to post an excerpt. Try that and see what happens

Usually, “continue reading” links are done via the “more” tag. You can customize the text that takes you to the rest of the text to anything you wish.

And yes, as carnold said, you can also do it via the except which is basically like inserting a “more” tag after the first XX words.

    Hi Shergil!

There is a codex page that details how to customize the “read more” to your liking at:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More

Hopefully this is what you’re looking for.

    Cheers!
