• Hello Friend

I’m having an issue with my widget settings not saving. This is happening with multiple widgets and I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating all of them.

I’ll click a preference, click save, and when I refresh the page it has gone back to the original setting.

    Thank you for your help.

Can you replicate the problem using the default 2012 theme with all plugins deactivated?

Well I should clarify, I’m using plugins that affect the widgets. But I just tried deactivating all but one and using the 2012 theme and the problem is still persisting.

    My blog is: http://www.danieldickey.com

You are using Thesis – not Twenty Twelve. And have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I am using Thesis, but switched to 2012 to try what you said. It didn’t work so I switched back.

    I’ll try again. Hold on.

Also, I’m having a problem with no one being able to leave a comment, they just get 404’d. Any advice on that?

It may well be all part of the same problem. Can we see the site using 2012?

Ok, back to 2012. No comments here either.

I can’t figure out what it could be.

Can you also try switching back to the default permalink structure?

Even with all the plugins disabled comment aren’t working.

    Thread Starter Hello Friend

    (@danieldickey)

How do I switch back to that?

Via Settings -> Permalinks. Select the default preset and then Update Permalinks.

    Ok. Done.

The comments don’t 404, but still nothing happens.
