Add gallery to posts

    Hello.
    I want to add, from functions.php some images to posts?
    What is the function that i can add photos to posts, because i cannot find nowhere.
    10x alot for the help!

    Fabby, what you need to do with functions.php. You can add images right from the dashboard.

    Go to admin > Posts > Go to any post > Click “Upload/Add-Media button”

    Upload and insert images/gallery in that way.

    I work at a theme, and, i want that, when the user install the theme, automatically to be added a posts, and some photos for this posts.
    I have a photo gallery, and the post is the category, for the photo gallery, and the gallery of the post is the photos of the posts.
    So, i want when the client install the gallery, automatically to add a post, and some photo for this post, for user to see how will look the gallery. I resolved to be added a posts, but i don’t know how to add photos.
    Can you help me with this?
