Can you add a link to a page that’s exhibiting that behavior?
Thanks, rarcher30. Are you sure you’re still having the issue? I just checked the following three fields in IE8, IE9 and IE10 and the calendar displays directly under the field for each.
1st Date requested, 2nd Date requested, 3rd Date requested
Thanks for checking that out spcaer. Yes the issue is still happening. I am operating an educational version of Windows (MOE) that is deployed from a server so bearing that in mind, they could have fiddled with the way IE8 works.
Actually it may not be the MOE causing the issue. I just made a test form page with a datepicker on it http://www.numinbaheec.eq.edu.au/test-date-picker/ and it worked on IE8 just fine.
I think it is the way I set the form up that is the problem. Perhaps I should put each date form on a separate line….
Yeah, try that and let me know if it corrects the issue. I’m unable to replicate the problem so if you’re still having issues, add a link to a screenshot so I can see how its acting in the browser.
Yeah it’s still “NO DICE”. I have just decided to live with the issue and tell everyone to avoid using Internet Explorer…
Here is a link to the screenshot:
