    Hello,
I’m building a website that uses the Responsive theme. I added content and graphics to the Home page. I then created a Blog page which of course changed my Home page and added posts there. Now, I can’t get the Home page to look like it did before I created the Blog page even though I’ve deleted the Blog page. When I go into Dashboard/Appearance>Theme Options>Home Page, the content I wrote still appears but when I view site, I’m still seeing the blog post stuff on the Home page. I must be missing a setting somewhere to remove the blog page stuff.

    Ideas?

This sounds like it is a Theme-specific issue. What Theme are you using?

It’s called “Responsive.” I don’t mind switching to another theme if it makes it easier to maintain the static Home page. I followed the steps in the link from Krishna above. It worked but I wish I had been able to maintain all of the formatting of the default home page e.g. widgets etc. I guess I can probably rebuild everything but it might take some time as I’m not a WP website guru.

If you want to use Responsive, you should check out their dedicated forums here: http://cyberchimps.com/forum/free/responsive/

There were some issues with the Home page settings after the last theme update so perhaps this is related. But even if not, the developers provide good support on the forums on their site.
