Adding logo to header (and widget)

    I am trying to add an award logo that will sit between my blog title, which is just header text, and the search box. It is a simple thing, and I have tried uploading an image but it either distorts or pushes the header text down.

    I also want to center the LKP logo in the widget area.

    Your can use F12 in IE or Control Shift I in Chrome to take you to developer tools. With those you can find the css you need to change, make temporary changes to see if it works and then change the css in your child theme (congrats on that BTW).
