The current export and filter dialog boxes uses drag and drop to order the list of fields that can be display or exported.

However, on a tablet, the dialog can’t be used. Would it be possible to provide alternate dialog boxes for tablets/mobile phones or any suggestions on where I should hack to change the dialog boxes for tablets/mobile phones.

hmm, I tried this one using 7in. tablet and seems to be working fine; do you have any sample screenshot for us to see?

Just to clarify on your testing.

Were you able to add and remove the fields in the list to be displayed when you open up the dialog box? (i.e. dragging the field into and out of the active list)

I am able to see the dialog box on my iPhone Safari browser but when I try to drag a field, the whole screen is dragged instead.

    hi,

I see, now I have the same problem with drag and drop however am not sure if this a bug since we are using tablet or smartphone which might be an issue with touch event? e.g. something similar with this thread – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15852435/drag-and-drop-doing-issue-on-iphone-android-and-tablet-devices

also, maybe @marcus does have any idea about this.

i’m going to remove that drag/drop functionality completely in the future anyway and go back to the old-school two select/boxes with arrows to add/remove collumns. no eta on that yet though…
