Fatal Error in Debug Mode

    Hi Sutherland, Thanks for the great plugin! I am running the most recent beta version, but when I “Scan for thumbnail” in the Debugging tab I receive the following error.

    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/n2kard5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/video-thumbnails-1/php/providers/class-youtube-thumbnails.php on line 50

    Do you know how I can fix this? I have tried running the non-beta version and it also has troubles pulling thumbnails. It must be conflicting with my theme somehow, but is there a way around it?

    It seems like your server might not be able to make the remote connection. Can you test it using Vimeo and see if you get an error?

    Here is the error I get when I try vimeo.

    ✖ Error: Error retrieving video information from the URL http://vimeo.com/api/oembed.xml?url=http%3A//vimeo.com/64995776 using wp_remote_get()
    If opening that URL in your web browser returns anything else than an error page, the problem may be related to your web server and might be something your host administrator can solve.
    Details: Couldn’t resolve host ‘vimeo.com’

    You’ll need to contact your hosting provider, it seems like they aren’t allowing your site to make external requests.
