You can do it manually, create one news, edit it, and open the HTML editor popup, delete all and insert your news (the BODY content).
However, you can create your own template.

I need an automated newsletter.
Is it possible to use a PHP template?
In case it is not and the one choice is HTML editing or creating a custom template, I guess I must use the token syntax “%title1%” for content and html comments marks for the automated module.
¿Only title and excerpt may be used are tokens?
By now, there is only the title, the excerpt and the content in free edition, and the featured image into Knews Pro… we will add date soon…
