Posting programmatically via Atom or XMLRPC

    Greetings,

    I’ve discovered how simple, robust and amazing WordPress is just yesterday (and had my blog setup in 10 minutes !). However, I have one burning need that I currently don’t know how to fulfill.

    I have all my old blog entries stored on my PC, and I want to upload them to my new WordPress powered blog (http://eliben.awardspace.com/blog/)

    The XMLRPC solutions WordPress support don’t seem to be enough because they don’t allow posting with “back dates” (i.e. I want to post my entry from January 1st to appear as posted on January 1st).

    The Atom feed doesn’t seem to support posting – or at least it’s different from what I’m used to (I can’t find link rel=”service.post” in the Atom page).

    Please advise
