What sort of changes are you making that aren’t showing?
Everything I do doesn’t show up in view.
adding line spaces, if I put in a new image, remove an image, change colour of text, basically any changed I make.
They are definately staying in the html as I just re-opened to check and are there in the preview but not on the view page or normal view of page.
Do you have caching on your site or server? Have you cleared your browser cache?
Just tried this no joy. I even closed down my computer and re-opened and it is still the same.
Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
And why are you using an older version of WordPress?
I went to sort this this morning and I’ve discovered that this only seems to be happening on one of our laptops and it is still happening. The other is working fine.
I am going into the library to check and see that the website is working ok on another computer, but it seems to be happening only on this one.
Any idea’s as it obviously isn’t the browser chache and I’m guessing the solutions above won’t be any good now.
Thanks
What OS and browser are you using on the problematic computer? It looks like you have some mark-up errors – some browsers are particularly fussy about valid code:
