Posting only to a category.

    When I post a text it automatically appears on a home page as well as in the category that I have marked.
    What should I do if I want the post to appear only in a certain category but not on the home page?
    Also, can you tell me how can I make some post disappear from a home page but still be displayed in an appropriate category?

    You will have to look for some Plugins to do that. There used to be a front_cat plugin, a catrgory_visibility, category_invisibility… etc.
    Alternatively, you can take a look at The_Loop article in the Codex, and read the examples.
