Try adding

add_theme_support(‘post-thumbnails’);

to your theme’s functions.php file.

A call to an undefined function would be a theme issue as far as I know.

With a commercial theme, you need to consult the support offerings provided by the commercial theme vendor.

Sometimes, someone with the same theme might jump in and try to help but as a general policy commercial (premium) themes are not supported here.

Theme specific settings and options don’t generally transfer to a new theme.
