authentication required – please help me!

    I think i am using 3.5 but could be 3.5.1

    I go to my login area on myclubbingholiday.com then /wp-admin and instead of the usual wordpress i get authentication required i tried entering my password and this did not work – i dont have wordpress downloaded onto my computer so literally cannot get in – how do i sort this out!?

    Any advice would be massively appreciated as I use it for my business a lot,

    It had a username and password which worked and now i am back in but why did this happen & how do i protect myself? apologies for the poor knowledge!

    Hi Oakley,

    I can see your hosting provider is Heart Internet. There is currently an exploit effecting Joomla & WordPress site’s around the world.

    No problem. 🙂 Make sure you keep an eye on your site for the next couple of days and ensure all your plugins and wordpress itself is up to date.
