Please help! Deleted user

    Hi there,

    I was having a clear up of the website and deleted a user who has now left. Several of this user’s images have now disappeared and I believe they must have been deleted along with the user details. (I didn’t realise that deleting a user would do this).

    I had a backup of the site but on closer inspection hadn’t included image files.

    Is there any way of getting these images back? I have been doing a bit of research this morning and read that there should be a trash link within the Media library but I can’t see this link.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Try reinstalling it. Images shall reappear if you have not deleted them.

    Thanks, is this the only way? The backup I have is quite a bit older than my current version of the site.

    Consult your web host as they may be able to provide a db backup more recent than yours…some do…some don’t….
