I am using a very old theme (last updated 2009) which I have managed to customize to my liking — even got widgets to work, after a fashion — though one issue continues to baffle me. (If it matters, it’s Phoenix Blue.) Site is http://www.dustbury.com/.
The theme indiscriminately intermixes comments and pingbacks/trackbacks, and for the latter includes an excerpt which may or may not be relevant. What I really want to do is what I’ve seen on more recent themes: where it shows something like “Pingback from: [bloginfo stuff]” and nothing more, at the bottom of all the comments. I’m assuming that this would go at an appropriate place in the comments template. I’ve spent about an hour in the Codex looking for appropriate syntax, without success. Suggestions?
