Import Metadata from XML

    I have an excel table i’ve managed to massage into XML format ready for importing into WordPress via the RSS import tool.

    The titles, contents and other main fields pertaining to the post import fine, but I am having trouble mapping extra metadata from the XML file to its relevant table in WordPress.

    I’ve tried to tweak the import script (rss.php) with little success given my very limited coding skills.

    Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
