Rss feed

I am relatively new to WordPress and have been trying to no avail to add an RSS News feeder to my site. I want the following:

Feeds directly from external RSS
Scrolls or fades vertically
Is able to be added to a page (not a sidebar)

Can anyone suggest a good plugin. I have been trying to use RSS Slider on post…. but for some reason it will not show on my home page. frustrating! Thanks so much!!
