Help with changing URL

Hoping someone can give me the correct method of changing my URL.
Have developed a site locally and have been told that the URL for the site needs to change.
For instance current url http://www.technologies.co.za
Needs to change to http://www.technology.co.za
Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
