    I have been having a problem for awhile with a particular WordPress blog [mod note: delinked spammer’s site] that keeps leaving spam on my blogs, example below the line below. The words “binary options australia” are a link to the WordPress blog just mentioned.

    What surprises me is that in coming to the WordPress homepage I see no link to report such activities, so I’m leaving a message in this forum about this ongoing problem.

    WordPress.org simply provides software to run sites. It’s the site owners who choose to spam other places, unfortunately.

    Most of us use Akismet to handle that.

    WordPress includes in the core only minimum functionality for the core to lite and fast. Fighting with spam should not be in WordPress core.

    If you need to stop spam on your site, you may just install the plugin. There are many anti spam plugins.
