Permalink Structure Error ?

    Hello,

    Upon installation I received a message stating
    “Permalink Structure Error
    A custom url or permalink structure is required for this plugin to work correctly. Please go to the Permalinks Options Page to configure your permalinks.”.

    I’m new at all of this, and I tried changing the permalink, but I really goofed it up. I had to re-install my site.
    I am using: Windows 7, Xampp portable lite, and the newest version of WordPress.

    Do I need to wait until it is “up and running” before I can use wp-super-cache ?
