might try to delete all cached info and restore the code exactly as it was, that ought to help…
yeah i don’t think it was the cached info.
because the rest of the site updates when i update code for any of it.
Its like instead of pointing to the page it doesn’t.. i’m not sure where this wordpress code would be relating to pages.
I can still edit and view what it should look like in the manage > pages part of dashboard. But when i click the view option it just brings me to the index of my site.
Update permalink structure?
update? Such as clicking apply or whatever?
i’ve tried changing the permalink structure to default and other things just to see if that was the problem but no luck.
I when i go in to edit the page it doesn’t show up in the preview, but it shows my index page. Would this be affected by the loop?
Newbie to WordPress. I installed WordPress into a New Directory named “wordpress.” My URL emailed to me is:
http://leadershippro.biz/wordpress/
When you enter the above link, it shows my Domain name correctly; however, the page, as displayed, states,
“Not Found” (in Bold) and below this, it states,
“Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”
Is this normal, or must I do something to rectify this. Does it show this, possibly, because I deleted the post that was created automatically by WordPress when I installed it.
Thanks for your response.
Hi Everyone,
My problem was all due to my not having cleared my Cache. All works well.
