Moved to subdomain

    Hello guys! I have a problem, I wanted to move my wordpress site from the main domain to a subdomain (www.maindomain.com to http://www.subdomain.maindomain.com) . I did a backup to the MySql with PhpMyAdmin ( I have the .sql file in my pc ) and also I did a backup to the entire website (including wp-contents etc.). I created a new database, I’ve imported the backup ( in wp_option table I’ve changed siteurl to the actual subdomain/domain.com ), I uploaded the entire site via FTP to my new subdomain and I see there is a problem with the permalinks or .htaccess because just the main page/start page working and the other pages like subdomain.domain.com/about aren’t working. When I change the permission to the .htaccess to be writtable (777) , even the main page not working.
    I really don’t know what to do now …

    have you adjusted your permalinks at all? Just head to settings->permalinks and hit save again. See if that helps

    I’ve noticed that is working with the Permalinks Structure set to Default . On the main domain it was set as Post name (http://domain.com/sample-post/) and now If I am setting to Post name it tells me to change the .htaccess permissions . I am change them and after that again the website no more working.
    What to do in this situation ?
