Shipping cost not included

I’ve spent hours trying to get shipping costs included. Our shipping is a flat fee… $0.50 per item in the U.S., $3.00 everywhere else. I’ve tried both method 1 and method 4. The following shows my method 4 setup. I don’t get any shipping cost showing up…even at what I think is the final checkout page. Here are some links to my setup.

Which shipping method are you using currently?

Method 4 is what is setup now. Here’s an image of the eShop->Products page.

I started with trying to implement Method 1 but in the Product Entry form in the page editor it didn’t give me an option to change the shipping class. As you can see from the Products.jpg it’s stuck at “F”. I thought maybe Method-4 would ignore that.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I need to get a e-commerce solution up soon. Thought I was almost there with this one…but I’m not willing to live without the shipping cost problem solved.

Have you added a weight to each product?

Are these downloads? Digital downloads cannot have weights applied to them or shipping, for that matter.

You should be using shipping method 3

Well…except the explanation for that method says this: “The shipping charge remains the same irrespective of how many items are purchased.” …but that’s not what I want. I need to charge $0.50 per book ordered.

In that case, use shipping method 2. You did read http://quirm.net/wiki/eshop/setting-up-using-eshop/configuration/shipping-rates/ didn’t you?

I did read it…but somehow it escaped me that this is the one I wanted. It does look like what I want. I’ll give it a try. Thanks your your help.
