How to indent an empty line

Hi all!

I’m using wordpress to post lots of poems, and thus, using an empty line between two paragraphs is mandatory for my formating.

Does anyone have a tip how I can achieve this?
As the wp post() function removes all whitespace, all of my original formating is lost:-(

I’m pretty new to wp, so any hints regarding the default package (tinymce editor) will be greatly appreciated!
