You should make subfolders in gallery. The root folder is not used.
Hi, thanks for the swift response, I habe crated a new folder called children
wp-content/gallery/children
I have put one photo in there, a .jpg.
On a page I have put [eazyest_slideshow] but get the message now:
Eazyest Gallery found no attachments to build a slideshow
You have to visit Admin -> Eazyest Gallery to get the folder and images indexed.
You also have to set the folder you wish to show in your slideshow, otherwise, the plugin will use any images that happen to be attached to the post.
[eazyest_slideshow folder=”children”]
@omen666 If you upload images trough FTP, you MUST login into the admin area and MUST VISIT the Eazyest Gallery admin page, atm this is the only way to index images and folders into the system.
Frontend FTP indexing, without visiting the Eazyest Gallery Admin page, will be available in a future version. Now, I am glad the plugin is working, and I hope to get the 0.1.0 final version out soon.
And I hope to save some time to finish documentation.
Thanks Guys, how do I index via the Eazyest Gallery? Do you have instructions?
Just open Admin-> Eazyest Gallery
Thanks for the continued help.
I open it and it says, no new images found in your gallery
Is you children folder in there?
When I click ont he gallery page with the shortcode it says:
Apologies, but no results were found for folder “children” in shortcode [ folder=”children”].
Yes my children folder is there.
Correct in Settings > Eazyest Gallery Settings
Correct Structure in FTP Folder
In settings you should have wp-content/gallery in settings to have wp-content/galllery/children/ to show up as folder.
If your image does not show, maybe it could not be attached because the script stopped on a memory error.
What are the image dimensions?
Could you upload it in Edit -> Folder for folder children?
Thanks you macbrink.
I changed the
Settings > Eazyest Gallery Settings to wp-content/gallery
Went into Eazyest Admin and it found the folder and 1 image.
I was putting
Settings > Eazyest Gallery Settings
wp-content/galllery/children/
Note to self: write documentation ASAP
lol. Support is wonderful though.
All pictures fine, but one of them is cutting the bottom half the portrait picture off?
