I am pulling this rss feed http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001281198&type=&dateb=&owner=include&start=0&output=atom

And I need to show the date <filing-date>

Your feed is not a regular RSS feed.

Have a look at the RSS spec to idenfify with fields are valid in RSS format:
