W3 Total cache not working with Multiple Server Setup and Memcache

Hi,

we have a multi server setup where the WordPress Admin is at a separate server and subdomain ( http://admin.example.com/wp-admin ) and the front end of the site is at http://example.com

After configuring W3 Total Cache plugin to use Memcache, it appears all calls to Memcache server from the WordPress admin are hitting, while calls from the Front end of the site are missing the Memcache server.

Any advice on how to configure W3TC so both WordPress Admin and Front End calls to Memcache are routed correctly would be appreciated.
