'Edit Spot' appearing on live website

    Hi

    I’m not a developer but someone who manages the content on our WordPress site and a newbie WordPress forum user.

    I have two problems which I think are related.

    1. On the live site (when I am not logged in to my WordPress dashboard) I can see the term ‘Edit Spot’ appear at the top of several spots I use (but not all) – see right hand column of http://www.bou.org.uk

    2. When I go in to any of my widgets and try to edit, the content flashes up and then disappears. I can see it to edit!

    Any advice very gratefully received.

    1. This is a theme issue. You need to speak with whoever developed this custom theme for you.

    2. Can you replicate the problem using the default theme with all plugins deactivated?
