  • 2.1.3 will change the “predictable” naming structure ,at least to some extent,but until then,just disable the plugin when you’re not using it (and this really shouldn’t be used as a backup plugin),that places a .htaccess file in the backup directory to prevent all external access to the files.

    Understood, but manual steps can be forgotten. So adding a little bit of security would help mitigate those times. I’m also using IIS, so the .htaccess file doesn’t solve anything. One more reason why I should convince my boss to switch to Apache.

    Anyways, thanks for the reply. I’m looking forward to the next release.
