The "Missed Schedule" Problem…

    There’s a very occasional bug I’ve seen wherein a scheduled post doesn’t get published and you get a message in the back end that says the post “missed schedule”.

    This happens rarely enough that I’ve never bothered worrying about it, but suddenly it’s happened 4 times in 3 days.

    What could be going wrong on my installation? Why does this problem happen anyway? why in the world wouldn’t WP just publish something, even it were 5 or 10 minutes late?

    Anyone know what would provoke this to just start happening? It’s still going on almost one post per night for the last week – totally randome because the other 7-8 posts go through fine, all scheduled for about the same time in the early morning.

    This is now a plague. Am I really the only person who has had this as a recurring problem?
