Hi… I was wondering if this plugin was set up to work for my purposes. I want to make an event that will allow 8 people to sign up for. The key is that they have to be a registered member and they can just click “register” to be one of the eight sign ups. I want it so they don’t have to fill out any forms or info (name, phone etc) since they already are registered and I have all the info I need on them. Is this possible? A 1 click registration for an event for “subscriber” users only.

Also, if I want to ban them from registering in the future, can I do that? Maybe have another class for banned people that can’t be a part of future events?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

-Since the user is already registered they just to login for additional bookings then once logged-in they don’t need to fill out registration data anymore. also, you can turn-off Allow guest bookings at Events > Settings > Bookings > General Options > Allow guest bookings

    – You can turn-off Allow double bookings at Events > Settings > Bookings > General Options > Allow double bookings

Thanks for the quick reply… I just installed it and it seems to do what I need. The only question I think I have at this point is do I have to approve the bookings? I run a weekly open mic for the users on my site. It would be easier if when they submit for the open mic, if it just gave them a spot and I didn’t have to go in for each one to approve it. Didn’t see that option, but hopefully it’s possible. Is it?

    Thanks!

Also, in the settings area, if I make any changes and hit save, they all go back to what they were. They don’t change. I’ve tried changing 3 things and they go back to what they were after I hit save. Also there are no opti0ons under the tabs Pages/Formatting/Bookings/Emails. Is that because I’m on the free version. I hit expand and nothing is there like it is under general.

    Thanks 🙂

to approved automatically, Events > Settings > Bookings > General Options > Approval Required

have you tried disabling other plugins? or temporarily switching to default twenty twelve theme?

    Likely you have similar issues.

From the sounds of it there’s a problem whilst generating your settings page, any further info or checking your logs would be nice to know (best put on the other post so we figure it out together).
