  • Is your home page also your main posts page?

The HTML code you see on a displayed page is generated when the browser loads the page – it’s “dynamic” – that’s how php based sites like WP work. There is no static HTML page to find. What are you trying to change?

Yes I believe it is…I’m new at this job and having to take over this and I’m trying my best. Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve been working on this for 2 days.

I’m trying to change the background of one of my contents on the homepage. The first box on http://www.seaarkboats.com is blank because I can’t find where to put the code. If you could take a look at the site and let me know anything it will be greatly appreciated.

Your main posts page is generated on demand by WordPress and controlled by your current theme’s index.php template file. However, as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial themes here.
    Try http://www.elegantthemes.com/forum/

Thank you. I’ve been writing posts on there and nobody has replied. I’m almost at my breaking point and want to give up.

Sorry but there’s nothing we can do about it. We do not support commercial themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business.
