Website will not open

    callawaycars.com will not open. I haven’t done anything recently to cause a problem.

    Contacted Go Daddy yesterday. They disabled Permalinks and told me it worked properly . They told me to install w3 Total Cache and Lazy Load, which I did along with enabling Permalinks. It would allow loading the home page after a long while and then none of the links worked. Changed Permalink settings. Removed those plug-ins and reinstalled WP Super Cache. No change. Then today, when the site was called up, a Maintenance Mode message was displayed. I deleted the maintenance file in the site folder to remove that alert, but the site won’t open at all. Finally, I restored the site from a Feb 23 version with GoDaddy’s FTP File Manager. That didn’t help either. GoDaddy says it’s a WordPress issue – nothing’s wrong at their end. Can WordPress help?

    Deactivate all plugins and revert to Twenty Twelve theme and see if the problem persists. If that does not help, manually reinstall WordPress, excepting wp-content.

    Backup everything (including database) beforehand.

    Thanks for your response. Apparently, it must have been a Go Daddy issue, as all is running fine now. They must have fixed.
