Major issues when adding the description to widget

Which version of the plugin do you have? Version 2.2.4.1
Which wordpress do you use? 3.5.1
What did you try to solve this issue? Not sure how to fix it, problem in the code somewhere, don’t know where to look
Describe your problem short, to the point and without a long story around it:
Trying to add in the description for an event. But the description has links in it, and the links seem to be getting imported oddly from the plugin, and are breaking the code. If I take the link out of the description it works fine, but I want the link in there.
