Convert Links to Posts

I currently have an Extensive Link Log, but am switching to an Asides type system where links are intertwined with content like we see on Matt’s Site and kottke.org

I was wondering if there is an existing plugin or something to convert these lists to posts. Doing it manually would take a long time considering the sheer amount of dates that would have to be adjusted.
