    Thanks for the suggestion. I have added the functionality of searching an image by filename in the search bar.

    The search results for file name will always be found last though. If there are 15 images with the title ‘Example’, the image with the filename ‘Example’ will be shown on the second page of search results.

    This is the easiest way to go, as WordPress doesn’t seem to be able to build a query that lets you search by both image title and filename.

    That’s fine, as my search is usually by unique filename

    Great! You should be able to download version 2.2.4 by now.
