Hi, You do have to activate simple ecommerce before installing wpshopcart.
But you dont have to delete anything, but you have to migrate the data though.

First of all, beatiful plugin, much appreciated it is perfect for me.
I need inventory control and really need quantity for my products as some of my products are custom and only have one item.
Does your pro version solve this?
if so does it remove the product so know one else can buy after inventory is depleted?

I’m having Javascript errors. I had the store setup with downloadable items. successfully purchased through paypal and this plugin. Setup a coupon for 100% discount on the item for a short time. I proceed to checkout, and like many, get a blank screen. no way to checkout now. Items show in cart on the sidebar, until after trying to checkout. the sidebar cart widget
then states, “Inventory tracking will not work because your site has javascript errors.” I have also just updated to the 2.1.1 version. still having the same issuse, on wordpress 3.5.1 Sending you admin. Please Help!
HI That error is only visible because you are logged in as ADMIN while you are visiting your site. This will not happen for your normal user.
