On the page where you want to disable comments click on the ‘Screen Options’ drop down in the top right hand corner of the screen. Then check the box that says ‘discussion’. Scroll down the page and there will be a box that says discussion with two checkboxes. Un-tick the ‘Allow comments’ one and they will disappear for that page.

Hello all, I have just started building my first WP site, the first thing I have noticed is that the comments box stays on each page and I haven’t been able to remove it, I have tried every option I could see in the dashboard, and perused the user manual, but no luck! I’m sure this is very simple but I just can’t figure it out! the ste is here:
