In page search

    Hi, thanks for a great plugin. Before considering the upgrade we are really interested in knowing if there is any widget-type in page search or similar.

    The global configuration works fine but in addition we would like to have search (widgets) on for instance FAQ pages, that should only return hits within their own set of rules, usually a category.

    Relevanssi doesn’t provide any search widgets, but feel free to customize the search form. It’s fairly simple to add a search form that targets a particular category, for example. Just add

    <input type="hidden" name="cat" value="categoryID" />

    to the search form, and the search will only target posts in the categoryID category.
