Comments form bug–not enabling

After reviewing the threads, this seems to be an unresolved problem. I’ve been advised to escalate this issue.

No matter what I do (and I’ve tried a lot with expert advice) the comments form will not appear and allow comments on my posts.

Since this problem first appeared, I upgraded to the newest WP version, switched from a Thesis blog to a stock WP blog. Nothing resolves this issue.

My challenge is that I am not familiar with CSS and certainly worth nothing as a troubleshooter.

However, my blog is gathering a following and if I can’t solve this I’ll have to go to Blogger (please, say it ain’t so) or another platform.

Please show me what I’ve missed or how I can correct this.
