WP flashytitles plugin help

    I installed the plugin, and went to configure it. Every time I hit “apply” or “save”, I get this error:

    “Unable to open file (/home/talkings/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/../cg-flashytitles.dat).”

    I’ve never used that plugin, but from that error message it would seem that the web server needs a directory to be writable. Does it have its own directory under /plugins like /plugins/flashtitles or similar?

    Dunno that this is a great idea, but you could try and make that directory world writable and see if that fixes it up. If it does, pause and reflect upon if that causes a security concern.

    The permission change fixed my error, and though it seems everything is correct, my “flashy titles” aren’t showing up at all.
