This is not possible with this plugin. You would need to add an AJAX request that hooked into the loading process of the image. All this plugin does is display a static progress bar via a shortcode.

Depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to upload image files on the front-end there are a number of front-end uploader plugins. No idea if any of them have a progress bar or not.
