Sidebar Shifted Down
-
Hi WPers, does anyone know why my sidebar has shifted down on my website: http://www.shamis.de
Is it because Im using Mozilla? And is theres something to fix it?
Thank you

EDITED* Also noticed this around here:
<div class="BoxBody"><!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="body" --><strong>Krugle answers the needAppears theres an added
<div>within a post that might not need to be there, and even if it’s intended to be there, it appears to be open, with no end tag for it.</div>/** Earlier said stuff**
Could be a number of things, like 24 of them for starters lol.. Start here first, find and fix. =)
Click Here – Failed validation, 24 errors
Also, while on the index page, around this post..
Love in the air….Look at the difference for the padding or what-not compared to all the others.. I don’t think it’s supposed to be just right under the add comments/date box right?
Just compare to the other posts and spacings once.

Posting this in a new reply to kinda single it out. I’m not sure what’s causing this, but it’s the main thing that I can think of that’s dropping your sidebar downwards.
I just checked your site again, and this spot that I pointed out in the above post, was around that Krugle post. Now it’s doing it for the Cheney Hunting post. (Yet the Krugle one is ok now..)
<div class="BoxBody"><!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="body" --><strong>Appears theres an added <div> within a post or template page that might not need to be there, and even if it’s intended to be there, it appears to be open, with no end tag for it.
</div>I think podz is around now, he might know for sure what’s causing that.. =)

Glad to see you’re down to 9 validation errors now, from the original 24. =) Good work at knocking some of them out now.. =)
Thanks dude, you rock! The problem was indeed that div on Krugle post. Thumbs up 🙂
[takes a bow to the audience] Thank you! Thank you! No really you shouldn’t! =) No problem Shamis. =)
However for some reason now, you went backup in validation errors. =( From 9 to 21 now…mmm. But, that can easily be fixed then, atleast the sidebar is backup again lol!
A little hint is to maybe try and double check your use of
</li>and</ul>and other codes witin the sidebar.php file. Also, I noticed some
<table>,<td>, and so forth tags as well as script errors I think from “New Sites from FreePay!” post.I’m not sure though, I’m a bit tired now..but just was throwing out thoughts and such. Maybe I’m wrong..and maybe someone else can help ya pin point the errors better… =)

Hell yeah! Whatever you did, you’re down to only 4 validation errors now.. =)
