plugin for banning IP’s?

    is there a plugin so I can ban certain IP’s from viewing my site? I’m pretty new to the html world–and I’m desperate. I wanna ban somebody but don’t know how. I have the plugin where only registered users can view my site. I have a girl that keeps registering but I want to ban her IP. Is this possible? Please let me know, ASAP. Or would I have to ban her IP through my surpass hosting?

    Any fast future help or responses are appreciated!

    I think there is, but why would you though. There was big discussion on this before, can’t find the thread url now though.

    Most net users have “always” changing IP addys and such. So if you ban JohnDoe today, poor JaneDoe might be banned tomorrow. And she isn’t even the one you wanted banned..

    Besides that, they could always come in to your site on another PC located some where else.. so it’s like, what’s the point of banning anyways lol..

    I was just using “basic and non-technical” terms for certain words above…please don’t be harsh on me lol..
