Remove Grey box under front page post

    I am using a Twenty-Eleven Child Theme and I am wanting to remove the grey box under the front page post. It contains the date, Posted In, Tagged and edit button. this is really an eyesore and if there is a way to remove it and keep the date, leave a reply link edit button I would really appreciate it. The front page is the only page it is on.
