I was using the “San Kloud” theme and switched over to “Next Saturday”. I no longer have a comment box. Is there something I need to tweak?

Comment box in this theme works out of the box. Check out if comments are closed.
Where do I go to check that? Settings, or comments tab?
Click quick edit on a post and check Allow Comments checkbox.
