• Hi there… I think I need a little help with my wordpress-
I had it installed into my root folder, then with my ftp moved it into a wp/ folder.
Not it is not showing right and some links are not working.
What can I do to fix it?

  • You pretty much moved WordPress…

Consider using phpMyAdmin to make sure your wp_options table has the correct values in siteurl and home.

siteurl is your WordPress address (URI) and home is your Blog Address (URI).

You might want to logout and delete your wp-content/cache folder also.

    And, some other info:

after which (above post), try to repair the database. it happened to me once…

A little tip: before you do anything radical like moving files from one location to another, back up your database. If you don’t need the backup, great. If you do, it’s priceless.

    Stuff happens; copies are good.
