Have you set Relevanssi to expand shortcodes? If so, Relevanssi should search the expanded contents of the shortcode. However, that depends a bit on the sitemap plugin as well – does it play nice or not?

Yes – I set Rel. to expand shortcodes. Sitemap works well http://www.esoz.cz/sitemap/ (its a school web).

Might there another better way how to search menu and footer?

It might be the sitemap plugin is just not compatible with Relevanssi. In any case, having sitemap in search results is rarely a good idea from the user perspective.

Searching for menus and footer is difficult, because they’re part of the template, not part of the post. Relevanssi doesn’t search templates (or complete pages user sees), just the post content. Also, search for stuff in footer should return every page, which makes fairly little sense as well.

So basically I wouldn’t worry too much about the availability of footer links in search results, because those footer links are still going to be on every page.
